Essential Functions of the Job (Key Duties):

• Meet development schedule and software performance per requirements.
• Adhere to software development processes including code reviews.
• Support design validation team in test plan reviews.
• Problem resolution through 8D, 5-Why techniques.
• Take designs from concept, to requirements, code, test, and production release.
• Develop and execute SW integration and unit level plan & testing.

Qualifications (Education and Experience)

• B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent (M.S. preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software design and development
• Proficiency in CANopen protocol, tools and certification
• Knowledge of MISRA coding standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills – position requires strong interaction with multi-functional team
• Knowledge in CAN J1939 is a plus
